https://youtu.be/6kXbp0WE6J4For sale is Singer sewing machine model 66. Serial# AA737731 dated November 6, 1925 Elizabeth NJ Factory. In addition to being collectible, Model 66 is one of the finest machines Singer ever built. It was manufactured from 1902 until 1950.
The machine is heavy duty, oiled withgenuinesewing machine oil, tried in different fabric from light to heavy fabric including leather and ready to go.This machine turnssmooth and easy and the decals are good. It does have some light wear on the paint from use but it still display beautiful. The side faceplate has adecorative, carvedand highly polishedmetalfloral design. The motor is original so does the light, very original machine.
No damage to the sewing machine, everything works as it should. motor, belt, pedal and light. Slight aging to the fabric covering the cable that runs between the motor and the case plug. The good thing the sewing machine has the Handy Plug, in case you want to change that portion of the cable, although it doesn't need any. I did cover it with tape for more security, doesn't interfere with the work of the machine, please check the video.
The case is bentwood covered with leathered paper that has some light wear,it can be replaced. The case locks nicely to the base, one of the hinges that hold the machine to the case is cracked, I put a screw on instead ($6-$9 for a set of 2) you don't need any if you planing to put the machine on a table.
