This is a pair of Civil War era silk lacing shoes. The color was hard to show but the first taken outside seems the closest. In door pics were taken on a very white board. They seem to be a beige to tan silk not quite as shiny as some of the flash pictures but they do have a sheen. They were found with the antique baby shoes that are also on sale.
Measures 9 inches long and stand 5 1/4 inches high. Condition - Fair - Depending on lighting can look overall dirty, split on one shoes on inside in front of lacing, spots and red mark on heel, heel has splits and lace is missing,small black spot on vamp. Other shoe split to silk on outside, couple of tiny splits. Toes on both has some areas of wear with silk having some splitting. Great for Study, Display.
