This sale is for a nice ARPS 90 brand backhoe attachment only (does not include the tractor) which has a 3 point mounting hitch and includes a PTO driven hydraulic pump along with a reservoir tank and spin-on filter. It is a very handy size with good reach and has a rated digging depth of nine (9) feet. The bucket is 16\" wide and is in excellent condition with four digging teeth. The numerous hydraulic hoses (more than a dozen) are the weak spot on most used backhoes of this class. They usually sprout leaks at the worst time during operation. Accordingly, only the best grade of USA hoses (Weatherhead - 3,000 or 5,000 psi rated) were used to replace all of the originals.  It\'s a tedious job to properly remove, replace and route all these hoses which have various lengths, diameters and end fittings. 

Again, my 8N Ford tractor in the photos is NOT for sale, but only to illustrate how the backhoe looks and operates when connected to a tractor. Note that my tractor has a loader and a live hydraulic system, so that I hadn\'t used the ARPS PTO pump and tank. It might need a hose, but I have every reason to believe that that pump is fully functional. This circa 1980\'s backhoe was made in the USA and is in good condition with smooth operating controls and ready to use. The steel structure is not deformed. Only some weeping of the swing and jack leg hydraulic cylinders would need any attention. The unit also includes an original  factory parts/service/operator\'s manual.
