Art Deco Green Luminous Satin Glass Gold Fish Motion Lamp in good working condition. Nice star shaped green glass housing. The heat generated by the light bulb rotates the spinner and within 1 minute of lighting the spinner starts to rotate giving the effect of fish swimming. The glass base has a teeny chip (not that noticeable really - please see pic). The glass housing is marked patent pending on the inside of the glass base rim. The glass bulb that sits on top of the spinner spike is not original to item, it has been replaced with a small glass light bulb inner. The fish spinner element sits on the metal rim of the bulb. When centered properly & once lamp heats up the fish element starts to rotate with the fish having a high & low swimming motion. Twist on/off switch. Difficult to photograph fish swimming motion via camera but it has a great effect. Wiring, including the plug end, is all original but would be advisable to renew due to age and fraying wear. Item will be double boxed for protection and safety in transit. Rare to find one that works and is complete with finial top also.
