Thisbeautifulantique artist reproduction of the Frenchcharactersmiling laughing Tete Jumeau doll is just wonderful. She is a very rare version as thissmilinglaughing Tete Jumeau doll and is one of the rarest antique French Jumeau dolls. Very few of thesecharacterdolls were ever made and theoriginalwould bethousands ofdollars. If you have dreamed ofowningone of these dolls but did not want to spend thethousandsof dollars it would cost for theoriginalthis would be the doll for you. The artistry is just stunning and as close to the original antique as you will find. She will fool even the most experienced doll collectors.She is not a mass produced numbered doll, but one done by the artist herself. The dollartist\'s name I am unsure of and did not find a signature. She measures a nice size of 16 1/2 inches tall. Her bisque is in goodcondition. Upon close examination I found ahairlineon the neck socket area. This iscompletelyhidden by the dress and invisible when displayed. Her body is fully jointed andcomposition. She iswearing a lovely human hair wig. She has pierced ears with pretty earrings. She has pretty paperweight eyes. What makes her even morespecialis that she iswearinga lovely dress and abeautifulantique lace hairadornment veil.
