This autoharp is designed to lay flat on a surface to be played. Designed to be carried as an attache case, the lid is held on by four hinges (all in perfect working order). Has a carry handle as well. Pros - all strings attached and all chord keys are working (may be out of tune - I am NOT a musician!). Seems to play perfectly. Cons - It is very, very dusty around the strings and keys(?), I tried to clean it as best I could without damaging it. The lid also has a dent in it, in the very center. In looking up the price of a new one, I saw the prices ranged from $400 to $600 dollars. In the condition this is in, perfectly playing but in need of some reconditioning (?), I feel I am offering a fair price, but will consider reasonable offers. Weighs 11 pounds, am adding a few more pounds to cover the purchase of a shipping box and the weight of the shipping materials.
