This authentic French Army issued bayonet was manufactured at the St. Etienne Armory for the Model 74 Gras Rifle. The blade looks to be dated 1877. The authentic scabbard and blade are in good shape, but have some discoloration.
The blade measures 20 1/2 inches. It is straight and the tip is somewhat sharp. The bayonet in the scabbard measures 26 inches total.
The press stud is fully functional. The numbers on the cross guard and scabbard do not match.
