Offered today is a vintage pair of American Optical Gold Filled Aviator Sunglasses. These are from the VietNam era, and have held up well. The inside of the stems reads \"5 1/2 (a/o logo) American Optical 1-10 12K GF\" The left stem has a 91 or 16 stamped near the hinge. The lenses have no cracks or breaks, and only minor scratches that I was unable to photograph. I\'m told that because they are glass, the problems can be buffed out. Has bayonet stems, and the earpieces look good with no teeth marks or other problems. Nose pieces look good also, with a small (and I mean tiny) bit broken off the bottom of the right one.
