Finally - a fret sanding stick that's PROFILED to match the fret crown

Hello again from AxeMasters. Those of you who tackle fret jobs are a courageous lot. It's a step by step procedure and requires plenty of skill and patience. In an effort to make the job a little easier, we've come up with our Fret Crowning Stick.

A spring-loaded sanding / polishing belt stick with a difference - a CONCAVE TIP!

We profile the tip to match a typical fret crown regardless of fret size. This makes shaping and sanding of the fret a cinch. All you need do is stroke axially, not "around" the fret crown. And this minimizes any potential damage to the fingerboard and the need for a slotted fret template. Also, the FPS works really well on the fret ends. Just reach over the fretboard and gently shape/polish the end.

Works great for profiling the fret and rounding/smoothing the fret ends!

6" long by 1/4" wide, we supply your FPS with two German-made KLINGSPOR sanding belts, one 180 grit, one 400 grit. Very handy for giving the fret crown a beautiful profile and final sheen. (See our seperate listing for replacement belts.)
