This is one of three high end pieces of Chinese I bought out of a fine and very well know Rhode Island estate. The family was the Coggeshalls, an early name in Rhode Island historyTHE family of the Coggeshall Museum. This lot along with a pair of rare Chinese powder blue jars and a set of carved immortal figures are being sold on my page this week, I guarantee the powder blue pieces I am selling are period Kangxi and will guarantee that for life...they are from a family home that was beingliquidated in Middletown, Rhode Island.

This is a beautiful estate fresh set, yes they are dusty, they need a little cleaning, but WOW what a set...

These are beautiful carved Chinese figures of the eight Immortals.Carved fromthe finest material these life like carvings have beautiful detail and are beautifully patinated from age. They date to the date 19th C. they have beautiful carved wood stands and come in a fitted box. I have taken several photos of each, you would be hard pressed to find another set like this and are the finest carving available on right now...

Each immortal is holding there respective emblem, they are great and to last this well over the years is just amazing.

Each measures approximately 2 1/2" - 2 3/4" tall not including the carved wood stands.

Condition:

They need a cleaning, they are estate fresh and have not seen the light of day in years and were up in a dusty old attic, one has a chipped finger and one with an old glue repair to a staff, I do not see any other imperfections of then natural age wear and such, they are beautiful just as all the photos show. The box is in good condition, some of the separators can move around under the satin material.
