A very fine WW2 British Paratrooper's early Mk 2 helmet. It has the first pattern leather chinstraps which are in excellent used condition. The liner is in fine condition also, though the felt lining band (behind leather band) has quite a lot of moth nibbles. The liner is stamped size 7 1/2 & any other stamps are too worn to make out. The shell is fine with no dents. The original paint has worn quite thin in places, please see pics. A great all original example.
