Original WWII-era figural table lighter, cigarette case and ashtray in the shape of a Jeep and its trailer, made by the Walter Baier Company in U.S. occupied Germany in the late 1940\'s. This military smoking set consists of an aluminum Jeep with rubber tires. The top opens up revealing a space for cigarettes. Turn down the door handle on either side, and the lighter pops open from the hood. Fully functioning, it just needs fuel and a flint to light - right now it is empty. Attached to the Jeep in back is an aluminum trailer on rubber tires, which functions as the ashtray. All the rubber tires spin on their axles, and the metal trailer rod is detachable from the Jeep. The underside is marked \"BAIER - GES.GESCH\". This one has its original, scarce color brochure, which I have never seen before. This Jeep smoking set measures 3\" tall by 9\" long by 3\" wide, and weighs 1.5 lbs. These were sold on U.S. military bases in Germany shortly after the War, and they\'re hard to find in this good condition with all the pieces. Offered with no hidden reserve and a low starting offer.
