EXCELLENT 50# @ 28\" Grayling Green Bear Grizzly made in Grayling, Michigan in 1973. Right handed model. No stress lines or cracks and has seen little use. The tips, decals and medallion are undamaged. It\'s straight and shoots great. This particular bow has a unique shelf design that\'s a bit smaller and more curved to add accuracy (image 4). This is a very rare feature for an original Bear bow. The only flaws in this bow are a couple of small areas where Bear technicians left some fiberglass dust under the glass overlays. They are very common in these old bows. They were not noticeable when made but over many years they became visible. They in no way affect performance and will not continue to grow. See images 8 and 10.This bow is ready to shoot. It has a new modern epoxy finish, custom made Flemish twist string and cat whisker silencers. The arrow rest is original and the strike plate is calf hair. It has many years of use still ahead. I have been shooting it with .500 spine Gold Tip carbon arrows with 120 grain points.
