Beautiful and rare all felt french \"La Venus\" doll from 1929.This all felt doll has been produced only for two years by French firm Carvaillo (trademark La Poupée Venus). She was offered dressed as a girl or as a boy, with a coat and hat or just in dress.Up till now we have only seen two specimenlike this one : this one here, and another one at Musée de la Poupée Paris. FOLLOWING A QUESTION FROM A BUYER, I HAD A DEEP LOOK ON THE DRESS AND HAVE FOUND A TINY HOLE (ABOUT 1mm) on the left side of the dress, all round and net.And NO the lips have not been repainted (!) those La Vénus dolls had all rich red lips.The hair style is \"à la Marcel\" very fashion during the 20\'s, andthe finemohaircan\'t be combed (that an answer to the question of another collector).
