Beautiful Antique Violin, Casket Case , Repair label inside from 1894 I recently purchased 4 antique violins from an estate that I will be listing. I don\'t know a whole lot about them but this one looks very well made.Inside is written \"Amgees lacrosse, WI 2-25-41\" & below that is a label \"repaired by John Koehler - music dealer- 220 3rd st. - milwaukee , WI In 1894\"Condition looks very good, no cracks or visible damage. Would probably make a very good violin for restoration. I found 4 pegs in the case that look original. The tailpiece has a flower on it... the stem is a metal inlay and the rest looks like mother of pearl, this piece also looks very old and probably original to the violin.23\" long!!
