Beautiful PHS. Haas Antique Cuckoo Clock still working, Black Forest Clock: $425.00
This is a Cuckoo clock made by Philipp Haas & Sohne around 1870 Black forest. The hands look Hand carved and could be the original Real Ivory hands. Very interesting because the movement itself looks to be part wood and part brass construction housing. It does work and the bird did come out and chirp on time. But it\'sjust out of storage and the bird is now off its perch. The bird is also hand carved with moving wings and beak. Size is 22\" by 13\" approx. It is a nice collectors piece if restored to it\'s original beauty. Please ask questions before offerding, it isdouble boxed and includes insurance, it will be shipped Economy from Hawaii 3-5 weeks or Priority at buyer cost. The number 10 is missing and also the 7 is missingthe toppart of the V I received this information from a very helpful Clock collector, so I am passing it on to anyone interested in this clock. This is a cuckoo clock made by Philipp Haas & Sohne around 1870, and is highly desirable among collectors who know. I noticed a small brass hare on the picture of the movement, which is a trademarked symbol of PHS. Haas in German means Hare, this is why they chose the leaping hare as their symbol.
