This is a Beautiful Darkfeather Wood CarvedPreening Widgeon Hen Duck Decoyin Excellent Condition. It is detail carved at the headand meticulouslypainted. Darkfeathers decoys have become some of the most sough after carvingswithdetailed head and beak carvingand realistic natural design. This was made as a working decoy but never used or displayed. It is in original condition measuring approximately 14 3/4\" long by 6 1/2\" wide, and 6 3/4\" tall from the bottom of the keel to the top of head. The Wigeonis one of therarer Darkfeather duck species with the even more rare preening turned head design.
