This listing is for a complete rug hooking kit by Sharon Perry. It comes with the wool cut in #8 (1/4\") strips, a color photo of the finished piece, pattern drawn on a lovely cotton monks cloth, solid maple Moshimer rug Hook which usually retails for around $10.00 - $12.00, easy to follow rug hooking instructions, and rug binding to finish it off once you have it hooked. When completed it measures 8 X 8 inches and would make a great wall hanging, trivet, candle or teapot mat, or table centerpiece. Lots of people hang these little mats from country furniture or make small pillows out of them. The sheep is hooked with winter white and charcoal and the posies with a mix of lovely dyed wools. The background is done in a dyed soft tan and for a finishing touch I added a row of chocolate around the outer edge of the piece. The only other thing you will need is a frame to put your pattern in for hooking. I started off with a quilting hoop and did several rugs on that before switching to a floor frame.
