Old Berg Larsen tenor sax mouthpiece. 120 1 off set M.Says Reg. Design 85142 / 8 on the mouthpiece.
Some marks on the bite plate and a small indent shown on thephotos that I can\'t feel when I blow it.Comes with original ligature and original cap and box. This belonged to a friend and it appears he has fixed a good quality rubber protector inside the upper part of the ligature to prevent it scratching the gold plating of the mouthpiece. Rail and table are flat. Some gold plating worn from the rails as can be expected from the age of the mouthpiece.
Considering how old it is the plating is remarkably good.
I find it gives a full balanced tone that is not over bright or edgy. The baffle and chamber design really helps you get those upper harmonics.Thanks for looking.
