It\'s from the oil fields and has been cleaned some but still have oil, rust, and dirt on it. Oil is betweensomeof the empty spots between strands as can be seen in centers of each bunchbut will burn out quickly.Great diameter sized wires for making knives etc. It has about 280strands each which can make a nice damascus blade for knife, axe etc.The knife does not go with sale nor is for sale at this time.
