Here\'s a chance to get a very nice Buffet Super Dynaction alto, s/n 87xx in excellent, ready to play condition.This sax was purchased new in 1960, was used through high school and then stored for many years. It was just professionally re-padded a few years ago (at Sam Ash) and played briefly by a middle school student. At this point, the pads are in very good condition.
The original lacquer has acquired a beautiful patina with hardly any scratches and just one dent at the very bottom which doesn\'t effect playability. There are no signs of past repair on this saxophone.
This is a well made, very high quality alto sax, manufactured in France in the neighborhood where the Selmer Paris saxophones are made. It has a beautiful dark tone with outstanding intonation. These SDA saxophones have a cult following, and many pro players prefer these to the much overpriced Selmer MK VI
