Wonderful, original and quite rare, ca1905 Tin Lithographed Advertising Shoehorn for V. Schoenecker Boot & Shoe Co. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This wonderful Chromolithographed, tin Shoehorn measures approx. 4” x 1 1/2 \" (at its widest). It features an image of a high-top, ladies shoe known as the Princess Brand as well as the diamond shaped trade mark of the V. Schoenecker Boot & Shoe Co. Text on the Shoehorn reads \"Schoenecker\" and \"Princess / Comfort Shoe\".

The chromolithography on this outstanding Advertising Piece is of the very highest quality and it is signed by the manufacturer - Charles W. Shonk of Chicago. Although the Shoehorn itself is undated we have owned similar examples of other Shonk Tin Lithographed Advertising Shoehorns that date around 1905.

This beautiful, ca1905 Tin Lithograph Advertising Shoehorn is in very good condition - the lithography is bright and vibrant and there is only some minimal and unobtrusive, light edge wear to the surface. There is some overall surface crazing but the surface is stable and the Shoehorn displays nicely. Please see the scans below for a good indication of condition. The back side of the Shoehorn is also in very good condition with light edge wear at the edges.
