Lee Campbell always made excellent free flight model airplane kits. The wood selection was good. The machine cutting of the parts was excellent, and the included plans were clear. His kits were complete, in that included plans, building instructions and covering materials.
This Prowler kit is no exception. It is a 28 inch wingspan, single blade folder rubber model airplane originally designed kitted and sold by Monogram in 1948. With the SAM design eligibility date extended to 1950, you can now fly the Prowler in SAM Small Rubber Model competition.
The tissue included in the kit is red. There are the parts, and a blade shaped for the single blade folder prop assembly.
I don\'t know if Campbell is still kitting this model. A little Internet search showed that there are some hobby stores selling the kit for a buck or two less than $70. So go ahead and offer for this one on E Bay and get yourself a bargain.
