You are offerding on a Carson Cooper“Sabrina I” folding travel spinning wheel.

Woods used are primarily Figured Maple. Base is heavily figured Fiddleback Eastern Maple, column is Western Maple Burl with a unique \"bark\" feature on the side. Wheel hub, tension knob, and front maiden knob are Maple Burl. Treadle was cut from \"crotch figured\" Western Maple. Mother of All and maidens are Birdseye Maple. Bobbins are a mix of Figured Western Maple and Birdseye Maple.

This Sabrina wheel was hand crafted in2013 and was used by the maker for demos at local shows, and for pleasure spinning.

The Cooper “Sabrina” travel wheelis styled after an antique French folding travel wheel.

The Sabrina wheel functions as a doubledrive flyer system by default, but also comes with a scotch tensionpeg for converting to scotch tension flyer system.

A set up and instruction sheet on the care, and use, of the wheel is included.

The wheel rim and flyer arms are madeof steel and were also handmade in the USA. The wheel rim runs fairly true,but does have a small amount of deviation from perfect roundness andside to side motion that one might expect from a wheel turned on alathe.
(This is because the wheel rim is madeby a local blacksmith by heating and bending around a mandrel, thenwelded at the seam. NOT turned on a lathe.)

The bobbins come equipped with ballbearings which make for a very quiet spinning experience. These neverneed oiling.
The wheel itself rides on needle andball bearings and never needs oiling.

The treadle rides on high qualitybronze bearings and never needs oiling.The only oil this wheel should everrequire is for the leather maiden bearings that the flyer rideswithin.

Orifice height is approx 22-23 inches
Dimensions when folded, (with themother of all, and tension knob removed) are approx 22 x 14 x 10inches.

A total of three mixed wood bobbins are included.This total includes the one shown mounted in the flyer.
Bobbins hold approx 3 to 4 oz. offiber.

Fancy threading hook in Maple Burl also included.

Two whorls are included with thiswheel. Approx ratios for the whorls are 6:1, and 8:1
(Ratios are determined by rotating thewheel and counting the number of revolutions the flyer makes in a 360degree movement of the wheel. A +/- one spoke tolerance is given fordetermining whorl ratios.)

NO RETURNS are offered for this item,but it does come with the same warranty against manufacturing defectsas “new” Sabrinas do. In the event of bearing failure, or otherdefect that renders the wheel not usable, buyer may return the wheelfor REPAIR ONLY at no charge for said repairs. Warranty does notcover reimbursement for return shipping though, or any shippingexpenses. Buyer is responsible for ALL shipping charges, to and from.

Wheel will be shipped via UPS (for United States buyers) so youwill need to provide a physical address where you can accept UPSpackages. Will not ship to a PO Box.

Sabrina wheels are Triple Boxed (this only applies to United States orders shipped via UPS) for asafe journey to you, and fully insured for the amount of purchase.Should damage still occur while in transit, United States buyers should file a claimwith UPS. Seller will provide photos of how the item was packaged toaide buyer in their claim with UPS if necessary. International Buyers would have to file a claim with the shipping carrier used for the country of destination.

Wheel will ship from California.California Buyers will be required to pay state sales tax of 8.25%.
