You are offerding on a Carved Mahogany American Empire Sofa, possibly c.1830in vintage used condition. This sofa has beautiful carved designs in the mahogany that make the sofa unique. The Paw Feet have elements of leafage, and cornucopias with fruit above them. The carved arms of the sofa are truly exceptional. The crest rail also flows in traditional form. The overall detail and quality of the carving is beautiful. At some point the sofa will need to be recovered.
