St. Paul\'s United Church of Christ in Evansville, Indianais selling a Casavant tracker pipe organ. The church purchased this organ in 2011. For a variety of reasons, we havenot beenable to follow through on the installation of this fine instrument. We recently decided to go with a digital organ, sorather than continuing to store the Casavant organ for what may be many, many years, wehave decided tooffer the organ for sale.

We are not interested in making any money on this organ. Our break-even is $34,611.16. The sellingprice covers our break-even cost, the sales fee, and the Pay-Pal payment processing fee. Should anything be left over, that difference, however slight, will be refunded to the purchaser.

The organ is Casavant Opus 2715, which was built in 1963. It is a mechanical action instrument with 20 ranks and 1024 pipes. The organ features two 56-note keyboards and a 32 note radiating pedal board.. This finish is dark oak.

The organ is currently disassembledand isin climate controlled storage. Please note some pipes are missing in the OBERWERK (swell). The pipes on either side are in the possession of a pipe organ builder in New York. He advises that this is not of significant concern. Also, the main great chest may have suffered from some minor water damage due to a roof leak this past winter (lots of snow and ice here). Any needed repairs will be paid by the insurance company. We have also been advised the blower motor will need to be rebuilt. It is possible there are other issues of which we are not aware. This organ is an used item; therefore, there is no warranty of any type.

The Casavant Opus 2715 pipe organ is available immediately. Except for the largest pipes, the pipes are already packed in pipe trays. The organ is ready to move.
