Rare opportunity to purchase an original owner Case W14B wheel loader that was sold new to military base in Birmingham, AL. Tractor has 162 hours on it and that has been verified. You can see that there is no wear on the tractor. There are a couple spots of some surface rust where it sat out in the weather. We checked lines and replaced a couple that had small cracks. We put new batteries in it, drained the fuel even though it was clean and put new fuel in it. Machine will start, run and operate. It is missing the small bottom window in one of the doors of the cab but otherwise there are no issues. Brakes are a little spongy which is to be expected. They picked up when we ran the tractor. For some reason the military buys twice what they need when they decide to purchase for a project. They use half of it and park half of it. This tractor was one of seven in this group that were parked. They generally take good care of the stuff and this base would crank the stuff every so often. That is where most of the hours came from was idle time and moving it around base. This is the third machine we have gotten from one of the bases over the years and they all have had less than 500 total hours on them.
