Thanks for stopping by to take a look at this clean older tractor. Up for sale today is a Caterpillar 931B crawler loader. Per my serial guide book is a 1985. What a nice running rig. Starts instantly and runs clean. Running in the pictures. Single lever control for loader with auxiliaryvalve. Power shift trans, 3 forward, 3 reverse. Pedal steer. Shifts good and and steers easy. Under carriagelooks real good to me, take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself. I see very little wear on the bushings, sprockets pretty good too. Rolls seemed quiet but I didn\'t check them. Street style triple grouser pads in good shape. Has a full cab with heater. Good seat. Machine all around is nice and straight. Not all hammered. Good tin work and paint. I though paint to be original at first but after looking some more I am now thinking it may have been painted years ago. Looks very nice though and who knows may be original but have been touched up years ago. Hard to tell. The only thing I have found wrong with it is the left hand bucket cylinder needs to be repacked. Looks dry otherwise. Also hour meter and a couple of the gaugesdo not seem to work. Hour meter reads 6842 but again not working. Bucket in good shape. Would make a nice home owner machine, or would be great on a farm or ranch. Priced at $15,900. Vt sales tax applies if picked up in person or if purchased by Vt resident.
