selling ONE caterpillar D-9 G.....my dad was in the paving and grading business for over 30 years.. he passed away in february 2014 and I am selling off his equipment.I have operated this machine alot.. I painted it and decaled it, put new seats and armrest on it and it went to a job clearing a pasture... The operator let it run low on oil going up a hill and it started tightening up...He shut it down, we loaded it on a lowboy, brought it back to the shop and took the pan off.. after loosening up 2 rod bearings the motor started turning free again. crank is not damaged..It has been sitting for 3 to 4 years .. due to my dads health got bad and unable to do anything with it.. other than the above issue, the tractor is in good to great shape..direct start, needs batteries....I put a new alternator on it when it was painted...I have a ful time job and dont have time to do any mechanicing.. I have several other tractors I will list.. we are located in atlanta...(villa rica ga) 40 miles west of atlanta towards alabama...the root rake is in great shape, has been used very little..with one thousand dollars invested in this machine, it would be a great tractor..we have had it around the farm for 10 plus years.. this machine would last you a long time.. this machine weighs 49 tons.. I have a loader here I can help load it on your lowboy to move..
