WHAT IS A \"SECOND\": A \"Second\" refers to a knife with manufacturing defects. We list out the defects on these listings and show them in the photos.There is no replacement guarantee on these knives.
1095HC:A great high carbon steel for hard use applications. It is easy to resharpen and holds an edge very well.
440C:A high-chromium stainless steel with a terrific balance of good hardness and corrosion resistance. 440C takes a nice edge and is fairly easy to resharpen.
154CM: An American made premium grade stainless steel originally developed for tough industrial applications. Known for its best all-around qualities, it offers great corrosion resistance with good toughness and edge quality.
D2 TOOL STEEL:A hardened tool steel, which offers good corrosion resistance and excellent mileage in wear resistance. A good choice for hard use applications.
DAMASCUS:A specially forged, layered steel made up 1095 high carbon / 15N20 nickel carbon or 1084HC / 15N20, It offers remarkable toughness and edge quality. For finishing, the surface layers or lines are exposed through an acid burn, which creates a very unique visual effect.
