The time has come to sell my mother-in-law\'s extensive Barbie collection. She also had some vintage dolls that I\'m not as familiar with. These were purchased by her at various doll shows over 30 years ago for display only. I will do my best to describe them; however, since I\'m not an expert on these dolls, please review the pictures carefully and email me any questions that you have that I may not have covered in the description. THISsale IS FOR A VINTAGE MATTEL CHATTY CATHY DOLL FROM THE 1960\'S. SHE IS APPROXIMATELY 20 INCHES TALL. SHE HAS BLUE SLEEPY EYES, BUT THE LEFT EYE DOES STICK; HOWEVER, IT CAN BE MANUALLY CLOSED/OPENED. SHE APPEARS TO HAVE ALL OF HER EYELASHES. SHE HAS LONG RED HAIR THAT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED AND STYLED, BUT I DO NOT SEE ANY MISSING PLUGS. SHE HAS A HARD PLASTIC FACE THAT IS SLIGHTLY STICKY TO THE TOUCH. HER HEAD, ARMS AND LEGS ARE FIRM IN THEIR SOCKETS AND MOVE FREELY WHEN MANUALLY MOVED. SHE HAS MARKINGS ON HER BACK WHICH READ \"CHATTY CATHY 1960, CHATTY BABY 1961 BY MATTEL, INC. U.S. PAT. 3.017.187, OTHER U.S. & FOREIGN PATS. PEND., PAT\'D IN CANADA 1962.\" SHE HAS NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR SCRATCHES ON HER BODY; HOWEVER, SHE DOES HAVE A COUPLE DIRT MARKS ON HER BACK. I DO NOT KNOW IF THESE WILL CLEAN OFF. THE REST OF HER BODY APPEARS TO BE FAIRLY CLEAN. SHE DOES HAVE A PULL STRING THAT WORKS, BUT SHE DOES NOT TALK - IT IS JUST GARBLED. SHEHAS ALL OF HER FINGERS AND TOES. SHE ISWEARING AN ORIGINAL PINK AND WHITE STRIPED OUTFIT WITH A WHITE APRON AND PINK BLOOMERS, PINK SOCKS AND PINK SHOES. THE DRESS HAS TWO WORKING SNAPS IN BACK AND IS LABELED \"CHATTY CATHY BY MATTEL.\" HER DRESS AND APRON APPEAR TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION, EXCEPT THE NECKLINE OF HER DRESS IS DIRTY. THE PANTIES ARE ONLY IN FAIR CONDITION AS IT NEEDS A LITTLE SEWING AND POSSIBLY NEW ELASTIC. HER SHOES ARE SLIGHTLY DIRTY AND THE ELASTIC IS WORN. SHE IS ALSO WEARING A PINK BOW IN HER HAIR.
