Christmas Antique All Bisque Boy Doll Miniature Dollhouse Doll Original Knit Winter Clothing Tiny Rare German French Doll House Doll This exquisite little all-bisque antique dollhouse doll is one of a collection I recently acquired. This rare treasure is a French or German-made boy, dressed in a full, all original suit of amazingly detailed and tiny clothing. The quality and workmanship are amazing. This little guy\'s meticulously hand-knit outfit includes a red winter hat, brown trousers, a tan jacket and red undershirt with a row of four itsy-bitsy buttons. His shoes are painted on his feet. He has molded and painted hair, and little tiny tufts of mohair that are glued under his hat on either side of his head. The hat is glued to the doll\'s head. The doll has jointed shoulders and hips, but the range of motion for his limbs is limited because of the bulk of the clothing. Photo #6 shows him with my fingertips holding the pom-pom of his hat. Based on the ruler photo, I would estimate that the doll measures approximately 3 inches tall (not including the added length/height of his hat).
{{Condition}}This doll is in very good overall condition, though he is obviously not brand new. The clothing is not meant to be removed, so I have not been able to examine the parts of the body that are covered with clothing. The bisque on the uncovered areas all appears to be in good shape, with no cracks or repairs. There are a few spots where the paint has minor surface wear, as shown in my photos. The clothing is in good condition, commensurate with what my photos show. As you can see in the pictures, there is some minor discoloration and dustiness. The biggest condition flaw is that the knitted jacket has a hole in the back (see photo #2). The knit fabric is in fairly stable condition considering this damage - it\'s not crumbling or disintegrating. Still, I recommend treating it with gentleness.Any other questions?
