Rare Cimatti road bicycle. Frame is late 40s or early 50s, indicated by longer rear brake reach, seat post collar design and lug work. Ambrosio stem and handlebars are original to the bike, as is the cottered crank. Ideale leather saddle. Someone updated the rear derailleur, brakes, levers and wheels later on. New white 27x1/4 inch tires. Bike will need cables and housing, and brake pads before it is functional. Chrome is in fair condition. Paint has numerous flaws including surface rust, wear/bare metal areas, and paint chips. Frame and tubes are straight, but at some point had a kickstand overtightened, deforming the lower chain stays near the bottom bracket. This does not affect the frame\'s performance or handling.
