The beautiful dresser features and ogee framed mirror held by tall uprights all covered in feathered mahogany. Serpentine shaped drawers with wooden pulls are also covered in the decorative veneer. The dresser top itself is solid Mahogany. Angled corners on each side of the drawers offer lovely turned and flower carvings. This dresser is very sturdy and ready for use,there is some chipping around the outer edge of the drawers due to years of use. Refinished many many years ago as it is starting to show some alligatoring of the finish. If you love Empire period furniture and the richness of beautiful Mahogany, this is a wonderful piece to add to any collection.
