By order of the Provost Marshal General of the United States,the following list of the names

of all persons enrolled in the sub-district of CONCORD, ispublished for the information of

whom it may concern.

Any person enrolled as below may appear before the Board ofEnrolment on FRIDAY,

December 4th,1863, and claim to have his name stricken from the list, if he can show to thesatis-

faction of the Board that he is not liable to military duty onaccount of, 1st, Alienage;

2d,

Non-Residence; 3d, Unsuitableness ofage; 4th, Manifest Permanent Physical Disability….

A small portionof provost marshal’s name has been penciled in where paper is chipped away nearbottom margin.

The item is coveredwith clear wrap, securely taped to art board that was not removed forphotos.

This item was part of a smoke free,environmentally controlled Bel Air, California collection (estate).
