DESCRIPTION: Clear Coca Cola SSN Crown Top Bottle from Petersburg, VA. It has "Coca-Cola" in script and BOTTLING WORKS., PETERSBURG, VA in block letters inside a Tombstone slug plate on the shoulder of the bottle. On the other shoulder it has TRADE MARK REGISTERED in block letters. Circa 1900-1905. On the bottom it has A.G.W. and the number 123. Near the heel on the backside it has MINIMUM CONTENTS 6 1/2 FLUID OZS. This is an excellent example of a seldom seen bottle that will enhance your collection.
CONDITION: Excellent Condition! It has minor wear on the body of the bottle below the Tombstone slug, but no cracks or wear on the embossed letters. It also has several bubbles throughout the glass and what appears to be an open bubble or small chip that someone has filled with epoxy right below the R in Registered on the backside of the bottle. The base is very thick and the neck of the bottle was formed crooked when the top was applied. This bottle is a very crude example and it displays beautifully!
