Ebonite stands up to rigorous conditions such as those encountered in marching and pep band use; yet the tone produced by quality instruments such as the one offered here render them suitable for stage performance as well. Pristine barrel, body and bell; good pads, springs, and corks; keywork shows little finger-wear. Noblet mouthpiece (no model or size designation), silver ligature and cap, and dust sock. Varnished wood case, refurbished inside and out, is a vintage beauty.
