I have for sale a 1984 Colonial Molyneux Grandfather Clock. It has a register serial number of #840-5595. The appraiser described this clock is being a \"rare traditional grandfather clock with a bonnet top. Most clocks only have two settings quarterly and hourly, this clock has settings of quarterly, hourly, and silent setting for the chimes. Those settings, the all-brass moon dial, as well as the maker of this clock make it a very rare piece of art as well as a beautiful clock. This particular clock is called a Grande/4847 from the Molyneux Collection. The cabinet combines crotch Mahogany with striped Mahogany accents. The brass moon dial features days in the month on the moon arch. Roman numerals on the actual clock. This clock also has a seconds timer in the middle of the clock. Beveled glass surrounds the movements on the top of the grandfather clock. Beveled glass also surrounds the lyre pendulum which drives the cable round triple chime movement. This is a fully functioning and perfect working clock. This clock also keeps time very accurately. You rarely have to adjust it. I also have the original skeleton key and the original weight winder.
