The machine will come with a standard North American 3-prong plug, for your convenience. You can always switch the plug end or use an adapter to fit whatever outlet you are using.

Large appliances, like washers/dryers, use 200V+ because they require a lot of power. Most American outlets are 110V (although you may have a compatible outlet already if you have large appliances around)
I can convert the machine to 110V for an additional $85.
Otherwise, you can use a transformer to operate the 220V version on a standard outlet.
Transformers for this wattage range cost between $110 - $190. I can recommend two or three reliable models you can find on or other websites.
