You are offerding on a used Concord Freedom 10 Deluxe 10 Speed Bike. This bike had been in the basement for years and is still in good condition but naturally will need some work and cleaning to get it back on the road as I have not ridden it for 10 plus years. Chains will need oiled but de railers all worked and cables are good. Tires and tubes were new 10 years ago but will probably need replaced. I have also included some of the information on the bake below in my description as the bike is sold in AS IS CONDITION needing TLC.For shipping the WHEELS WILL BE REMOVED., and will be shipped Greyhound Bus to a hub near you so PLEASE ask before offerding. This is a Concord Freedom 10 Deluxe bike, from the Japanese bicycle invasion of the 1970s and early 1980
The Concord was a nice bike for its time and selling price. The Japanese were making good quality bicycles. The Yen to Dollar exchange rate was very favorable to buyers in the US. A buyer in the US got more for his money, buying a Japanese built bike. Schwinn had some of their bicycles built in Japan. The Japanese built Schwinn’s are preferable to some riders. They handle well.
The frame is 23\" The stand over height is 36.5\".
The BLUE paint shines with SOME scratching There is a scrape on the seat tube from a bottle cage. It can be covered with another bottle cage.
The chrome is OK with no rust.It shifts smoothly through all 10 gears. The brakes work well. The wheels are right on true with no curb dents.
The frame is mode of KCL seamless tubing.
Shimano 400 derailleurs. They are working well.
The Shimano Finger Tip shifters click, but the shifting is not indexed.
The hubs are Shimano.
Dia-Compe center pull brakes with good pads. The levers are two position for sitting upright. There are releases for easy wheel removal.
Araya chromed steel wheels. 27\" x 1 1/4\".
Tires will probably need to replace them, as last used 8 years ago as new tubes were also purchased at that time.
Everything is original, except the tires.
It will be carefully packed.
