Up for sale: OneCopper pot still with a thumper/ doubler and coil/condensor. Working capacity is about 2 gallons with max capacity at about 2.5 gallons. Doubler/ thumper can be primed with about 1 quart. coil is 1/2 inside diameter. Can be used to make beer, wine, herbal essences or distill vinegar, water or what have you. Large Pot is made of 16 oz. per sq. ft. sheet copper along with the cap and doubler pot. tubing is 1/2 inside diameter type L. Out of the cap the reducer drops to 1/2 inch which is the size of the inlet for the doubler/thumper. Outlet on the doubler is 3/8 inside, again type L. Makes a great designer piece or with proper licensing it can be legally usedto make ethanol for internal combustion engines or whatever. Tested with water and was leak proof, other than the joints where the unit separates the top of the doubler holes, cap andcoil whichare easily patched with rye or about any other starchy paste. This is a tried and ture instrument which has roots in the Mtns of the Southeast. All items of this nature can develop leaks from time to time and may need touch ups on occasion.A dab of solder or paste is usually all that isrequired. Doubler/thumper has wooden cap which makes it easier to replace, cleanand or change fitting sizes ie 3/4, 1/2,3/8, 1/4 depending on usage

Of course only lead free solder and water souluable paste were used in construction.

As with most digitals this item is sure to look better in the pics than in person , but is in my opinion a pretty cool item.

I have had a few questions about the reserve and shippingso here it is. Reserve is set at a modest $240 Dollars and shipping will be actual based upon location plus about $5.00 for box and packing materials. UPS is usually the best but I will ship just about anyway winner chooses. I will consider ending sale early with pre arranged agreement andconfirmed payment through paypal.
