This is not the run-of-the-mill Lafayette model. This hand-crafted masterpiece is one of the most sought-after flugelhorns ever produced. The unique one-piece bell construction continues all the way to the 3rd valve. Exudes a broad, thick, dark, smokey tone with an easy breath attack like no other flugel on the market. This gorgeous work of art is in very good condition and features a shimmering gold lacquer finish (see pictures.) Even though some of the copies are quite good, none has ever matched the breathtaking beauty, impeccable craftsmanship, and unmatched warmth of the classic Couesnon Monopole Star.
Comes with a Vincent Bach 1-1/2 CFL mouthpiece with French shank to fit this horn, and a sturdy Pro Tec International flugelhorn case.
