This is a hand turned beautiful piece of Lignum Vitae. Lignum Vitae (Argentine) is an exotic wood, yet is native to the West Indies and the tropical regions of the Americas. It is a very hard, dense, and heavy wood, with a fine texture. The heartwood color ranges from a dark greenish brown to black. Lignum Vitae has a Janka Hardness rating of 4000, that is the hardest wood listed on the scale. This striker will work excellent on any type of Pot Call. Several of the competitors in the Friction Call Competition at NWTF 2016, including a World Champion, use my strikers.
