Bought this cool Daphne Blue Strat style body and squire neck last year for a project. Too many projects to get to it. The body wood species is Alder like in color, defiantly not paloauana, or plywood. Could be Alder, not sure. Automotive paint and clear coat were used and the finish is durable and looks very professional! Excellent build project with a great vintage/retro color and nice gloss.
