WHY APPLIED COMPUTER CONTROLS & SPA MECHANICS

- ACC is an industry leader, they have been making spa controls since 1982. In 1982 ACC was the first to introduce intellgent microprocessor based spa control systems.

- If it's a 5.5kw heater or larger you need a heavy duty heater contactor to carry the amp load of the heater. ACC uses a heavy duty heater contactor, the competition doesn't.Other brands use the micro relay on the board to carry the amp load of the heater. As you can see from the pictures below the micro relay on the board can overheat and actually burn out. So, if the heater is 5.5kw or larger make sure the controls have a heavy duty heater contactor.
