Dad's Decoys # L3 H.V.SHOURDS DRAKE BLUEBILL DECOY
I have inherited a wonderful collection of duck decoys, fish decoys, wildlife art, fishing gear and items tonumerousto mention from my Dad, Russ Armstrong. Dad collected for the pure joy of collecting but he loved duck decoys the best. There was never a duck carved that he did not like. Dad lived in Michigan all of his life in the Ann Arbor and Brighton areas. He traveled all around the Great Lake states to meet the decoy artist and and bring home something for his collection. Most of the treasures were never unwrapped. Many have not seen daylight for the last 10-30 years. Upon his death he had collected over 2300 birds. He also purchased many decoys from the Guyette & Schmidt sales. All of the decoys I offer have been appraised, by value only, from Guyette & Schmidt.
I am not a collector and I do not have knowledge of decoys, but I will attempt to answer any questions that you have. The photos will give you the most information. Please look at them closely, I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS! I accept Paypal. I will combine shipping on multiple sales of the same sale. I ship priority mail to all sales east of Rockies and parcel post to all sales west of the Rockies for the shipping costs posted. I also ship toAustraila,United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan and Italy for additional charges. All sales over $100.00 will be insured at my own expense.
Thank you for taking the time to look at this week's offering of his collection, hopefully you will find something for yours. Good luck and have fun with your offerding!
