This is a 28HP Daihatsu 3 cylinder 950cc Diesel engine made for Briggs and Stratton Vanguard. This engine was used in a trade school for educational purposes but was never coupled to anything so it has had a very easy life. It has only been run on the test bench and it has been stored inside a climate controlled shop.I have not cleaned this engine in any way this is how it was kept the entire time.It is complete with almost everything needed to run, you will need to supply a 12v battery and a fuel tank. It runs very well and starts right up, glow plug timer and ignition switch work perfectly and all gauges are working. Engine also has a storage cover and motor mounts. This is the same engine that Kawasaki puts into the 2510, 3010, 4010 diesel powered mules so if you need a replacement engine this one should bolt right in. The engine comes with everything in the pictures except the steel test bench but it is availableseparately. This engine would be great for a generator or water/hydraulic pump. I am more than willing to crate and ship it but the buyer will be responsible for shipping costs andarrangements. I am also willing to deliver within 200 miles for the cost of fuel.
