This is aDiehlWall Clock from 1950\'s - 1960\'s time frame. Wooden case that has a wonderful high shine Mahogany look. It is batteryoperated and uses oneD battery. The clock runs fine, but I will say it makes a growl about every 15minutesor so, maybe just needs oiled or perhaps meant to make a sound??? I makes us laugh so I have never tried to see why. You can see if you look very close some minor wear near the edges. The clock has a hook in the top that fits perfect on the metal bracket witch then fits perfect over the circle metal piece that mounts to the wall. It also has four metal feet on the back to protect the wall.
The face is covered by a glass door that has no damage and opens and shuts nicely. The face has a small scratch near the 12 (please see the Photos)
The battery in the back screws in and I have given you pictures of the back. The plastic is holding great even with the fracture lines you see. The clock is marked made in Germany on the front and the back. It also says the following::: DB Pangdem Diehl Electro a=2 sec/24h
The metal all over is lovely and in very good condition.
