Dooney & Bourke remake from early 2000 era by Dooney & Bourke. This is a drawstring/sling bucket shoulder bag. It has the two attached tassels on the drawstring front. Style is #R708 with tags and reg. papers attached. This is done in the Purple Aubergine (eggplant color) AWL pebbled leather with British tan trim. It has brass hardware as well as the D & B Duck fob attached. The hardware is mint. It has the rivets with D & B stamped on it. It has the smaller front magnetic closure pocket along the front and fits my Samsung 5. The D & B logo is sewn along the front of that pocket and is also mint. It has the adjustable leather sling buckle strap. Inside is the beautiful matching purple suede lining that is mint with no damage. Absolutely no odors except the wonderful smell of leather. This bag has it\'s cloth tag with the #A6 374474 sewn inside and is uncut without damage. This is a new old stock drawstring bag that was tucked away and never used so if you want a premium older D & B with the color purple that is MINT condition & made in the USA then check this out. I doubt you will find another in this color and condition. If you are a collector then this is a must have. Another classic D & B that lasts a lifetime. Measurements are 9 1/2 L\"x 101/2\"T x 4\"D.

Hi. Just a comment on your pretty bag. This is from Dooney\'s Vintage Remake Collection from about 10 or 12 years ago. The tag with the orange duck is the clue, as well as the red price tag. I have 2, one is in a peach color another is a light blue. They made this bag in several other vintage styles and included some original vintage colors such as Aubergine and Mushroom as well as some fun colors such as fuschia! These are not often seen, especially NWT. Just beautiful.Info to help with authenticity of a D & B-Vintage...
In1986 Dooney & Bourke changed their cloth label to the traditional Red White Blue with MADE IN THE USA below their name. However in the middle 1990?s Dooney & Bourke removed the MADE IN THE USA on SOME of their bags because they were assembled overseas.
MADE IN THE USA the serial number will start with A or B.

If the serial number starts with C it was assembled - made in COSTA RICA!
If the serial number starts with H it was assembled - made in CHINA!
If the serial number starts with I it was assembled - made in ITALY!
If the serial number starts with J it was made in CHINA! Most of the new bags you see on QVC or specialty stores have the black or white tag sewn inside.There should be a number on the back of the tag. These are the newer bags and are legit!
If the serial number starts with K it was made in CHINA!
If the serial number starts with L it was made in CHINA!
If the serial number starts with M it was assembled - made in MEXICO!
