This is a recently refurbishedDrake L-4B linear. It is a later serial number amp in very good condition. There is one blemish on the front face plate but you can\'t see it unless you get very close. It doesn\'teven show in the picture because it is so hard to see. I updated theampwiththe following new modules:
- Harbach Filter/Diode power supply upgrade.
- Harbach Softkey upgrade lowers keying voltage to about 1 volt @ 1.5 ma.
- Harbach replacement relay plate to replace the two pin Drake 120V connector with a standardRCA phono socket.
- High end SoftStart board from France using both current limiting and relay delay.
- New front panel knob set.
The blower motor is very quiet and has been cleaned and lubricated. Amp uses EIMAC 3-500Zs.Amp will be shipped in three separateboxes - amp, power supply and tubes/chimneys.
I will ship for a flatfee of $85 which is a bargaingiven the cost of new double wall cartons and the weight. Carton weights and sizes are:
